Privacy Policy

Who we are

Our official website address is https://faubridge.org, owned and operated by Faubridge Enterprise LLC, headquartered in Eastern Idaho.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to assist with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture (if applicable) is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract location data from such images.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. This is for your convenience so you do not have to re-enter your details when leaving another comment. These cookies last for one year.

If you visit our login page, a temporary cookie will be set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, several cookies will be set to save your login information and screen display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. Logging out of your account removes these cookies.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after one day

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (such as videos, images, or articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if you visited the other website directly.

These external websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with their embedded content. This includes tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged into that external site.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information provided in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except for their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you may request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you provided. You may also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you, except where retention is required for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
